Support for Latino-owned small businesses
Support for Latino-owned small businesses
By Tim Spitzack | Editor | March 2026
The Latino Chamber of Commerce Minnesota and Latino Economic Development Center (LEDC) have launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise $1 million to help Latino-owned businesses in the Twin Cities who have lost revenue due to “Operation Metro Surge” by the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency. The fund supports small businesses experiencing the greatest hardship. Donations will be prioritized for businesses with limited access to capital, including mom-and-pop shops and businesses at risk of closure. LEDC is the fiscal agent.
